Some group of gunmen wielding guns and other dangerous weapons have succeeded in killing an Imo born business man, Teo Mbakwe and at the same time abducted his younger sister. The incident happened at Amaigbo in Nwangele local Government Area of Imo State.
Meanwhile the gunmen still holding the young lady in captivity have demanded N1m for her release. According to a family source, the gunmen earlier demanded N3m, but later decided to go for N1m after much pleadings.
The source said, “The family is running around to raise the money and free the lady. They don’t want to lose another member of the household after losing Theo.
“The abducted girl is in pains. The kidnappers gave her a mobile phone to speak to her family members and she kept crying. Her condition is bad.”
Mbakwe, well known as Chiboy, was shot dead in front of his parent’s house by the gunmen who abducted the lady from the victim’s vehicle.
The deceased was the first son of the late Chief T. T. C. Mbakwe, the first indigenous paint manufacturer in Nigeria.
