Missoula Co.'s regulation agency coping with litigation delays – KPAX-TV

MISSOULA – The Missoula County law firm says there has been a delay in the coroner's investigation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Missoula county attorney Kirsten Pabst says there are "a handful of lawsuits pending against coroners," such as the most recent official shooting of Jesse Brown on Sherwood Lane earlier this month.

She went on to say that they have postponed some requests because of the pandemic and that they plan to schedule these as soon as they are feasible.

No schedule is given for when the requests will be postponed, but Pabst says they will continue to be reassessed as the situation improves.
